💡The Meaning of the Super Moon/Full Moon in Taurus
This Full Moon will be at 13°22’ Taurus, opposing the Sun in Scorpio. This is the second of three consecutive supermoons, amplifying emotional intensity and physical sensitivity.
Taurus, ruled by Venus, embodies the archetype of the Earth Priestess—a guardian of beauty, pleasure, and material wisdom. She teaches us to root into the body, honour our senses, and cultivate abundance through patience and persistence.
If the first house (Aries) is to follow desires and create/initiate. Then the second house (Taurus) is to produce a foundation and build. To bed in, plant and slowly, deliberately grow. As a fixed earth sign, Taurus is deeply connected to the rhythms of nature, the earth beneath your feet, harvest, natural foods and the seasons.
Venus rule Taurus as the inner, feminine. Her energy reflects beauty inwards. This archetype reminds us that true security comes from self-worth, not external validation.
Worth, esteem, value and what we build within ourselves.
Saying that, Taurus is also what we build physically - finances and possessions. It's what we see, tangible. I like to call this energy and house 2 'Bob the Builder's House'. Lol.
As per all Full Moons, this is a completion/culmination/ending event.
Let's look at the shadow side of the signs and then break things up into more detail.
🌓 The Shadow Side of Taurus
When Taurus energy is out of balance, it clings. To routines, relationships, possessions, and identities that no longer serve. The shadow side fears disruption and resists transformation, even when it’s necessary.
Watch for emotional rigidity, jealousy, or resistance to change. These are signs that the Taurus part of your psyche needs reassurance that security can coexist with evolution.
🔄 Sun in Scorpio (23°) and the Taurus-Scorpio Axis: I build; we burn
With every Full Moon we have two signs in opposition. This axis governs resources, value, intimacy, and transformation.
Taurus holds; Scorpio releases.
Taurus builds; Scorpio burns.
Taurus is what I own; Scorpio is what we own.
Taurus is physical; Scorpio is spiritual and emotional.
Both are fixed, strong and resilient.
Taurus thrives on consistency, beauty, and tangible results. It builds slowly, values loyalty, and seeks emotional and financial security. But this can lead to stagnation or fear of change. Scorpio, by contrast, is the archetype of emotional alchemy—it dives into shadow, embraces endings, and transforms through intensity.
This Full Moon, with the Sun in Scorpio illuminating the depths, may stir discomfort around letting go, especially if we’ve over-identified with what we own or control.
To evolve, Taurus must:
- Release attachment to permanence: Scorpio teaches that nothing is truly secure unless it can survive transformation. Just cause you built it, doesn't mean it shouldn't be burnt down.
- Explore emotional depth: Instead of avoiding discomfort, Taurus can learn to sit with it, feel it fully, and let it guide growth.
- Embrace vulnerability: Scorpio invites Taurus to open the heart beyond surface-level safety to risk intimacy, truth, and raw emotion.
- Own your value while surrendering to change.
This Full Moon may illuminate where you’ve over-attached to comfort or resisted emotional depth. It’s a chance to reclaim your power by honouring both stability and soul-level evolution.
Let's look at the chart for the Full Moon in Taurus

Venus (ruler) aspects: square Pluto and Jupiter / Yod with Neptune/Saturn and Uranus. View if listening to the podcast.
Deep Dive Taurus
Deep dive Scorpio
Ruler Venus in (28°) Libra and square to both Jupiter in (25°) Cancer and Pluto (1°) Aquarius
The ruler of the Full Moon is the central point of a T-square between two heavy-weight planets. With out-of-sign Pluto in a fixed sign (Same as the Moon and Sun), we can view this as spinning wheels or quite the dramatic fanfare. Fixed signs do not budge easily and so there is a tendency to hold until things get pretty nasty before being forced to move or change.
If we can break this down, we see Taurus holding firm, Scorpio challenging the soul to evolve emotionally and spiritually and then ruler Venus in Libra looking at bargaining-how to keep it all as happy as possible. Jupiter in Cancer expands sensitivity, connection to home and family life... while Pluto in Aquarius tells us to place our power in the future. The stage is set for our home to crumble and our emotions to surge aflame.
The guiding light we see is the one that says 'trust'. It's typical for us to hold on tightly to what we have now - knowing its not right and to shun the possibility of new. How many times have we remained in the 'safe' relationship or 'job' and not risked things from what we love most? I'm not say you should go for it, but do not let comfort hold you back in your decision.
Venus centre of a YOD pattern between Neptune in (29°) Pisces Saturn at (25°) Pisces AND Uranus (0°) Gemini
Oh no, not another YOD.
Yods are awkward aspects that require adjustments that may feel unnatural.
The way forward is fraught with brambles. No matter what you do, it's going to hurt like a bit&*. Neptune at 29 degrees suggests an illusion has been playing out and you're about to figure it out. Saturn in Pisces may refer to boundary overstepping., while Uranus in Gemini forebodes a sudden (shocking/surprising) communication. We don't ned to be mathematicians to see where this storyline is heading. You will find out something you didn't wish to know and it will rock your foundations.
Here's where forewarning is forearming. You are reading this and now you can prepare your head for any potential changes. Know that you CAN handle things. If you must scream, do. Burning tears can spill. It's going to be ok... eventually.
For some strange reason my spidey sense is thinking 'taxes'.
Take a look at where 28 degrees of Libra is in your chart (read notes at the end) to see where the major dram/challenge will be felt.

Aspects to the Full Moon in Taurus
Sextile the North Node and trine the South Node
At major life crossroads, the nodes will be aspected. In this case, they are the collective nodes, so its the collective path. An opportunity exists for us to move forward, although trines can represent ease and to the south - slipping back into old habits and patterns.
Maybe it's the final hold on tight before things are beyond repair, maybe the risk feels too high.... either way, this stance cannot be maintained.
What else is happening?
Full Moon in Taurus aspects to other planets
This full moon is rich with supportive and transformative aspects
Neptune at (29°) Pisces, conjunct Saturn at (25°) Pisces
The walls are coming down, boundaries are dissolving and sensitivity is peaking. This is the aneretic degree and with that Pisces themes are strongly felt.
Transcendence, spiritual attunement, intuition and listening to the non-physical signs of the universe are as apt her as illusions, mentally-drawn fears, fogginess and yearnings.
Ensure your feet are firmly placed in the Earth. Dreams are possible to create, but fantasies are usually better left as such. Use this energy to release fears and forgive. Moving forward will feel so much freer if you can.
Mercury at (5°) Sagittarius conjunct Mars (0°) Sagittarius
Open-road style thoughts, laid-back thinking and an eye on an adventure. Mercury governs the information we absorb and Mars is what we desire. This is a nice energy to broaden the picture and gain a sense of the horizon. One may travel in their mind before taking a step... it's a sure way to build motivation and momentum.
