As a malefic, Capricorn/Saturn is not the most well-loved of signs. Symbolising
the passing of time, old age, restriction and challenges - it isn't difficult to see why. Yet, beyond the stern exterior and traditional stance, Capricorn is committed for all time, enables inner growth, is mature in outlook and wise with words. Capricorn will stand firm - like the goat. It will be resolute and ambitious; succeeding after continuous failure when others have long given up. Capricorn isn't hopeful. It's practical, accepting of life's regulations and containers.
As Capricorn is Father time, responsibility and hardship create time hops, where contemplation incubates growth. A sign that is understanding of life, that holds it together in a crisis, that can complete any journey weighed down with figurative burdens. Without Capricorn, we would run and hide, give up, never know achievement. Relationships would last five minutes and neither party would forgive and learn. If we wish for longevity and perseverance, Capricorn is the energy to provide it.
This full moon at 1 degree will be followed on 21st July by another at 29 degrees Capricorn. So the story is going to have two parts.
In part one, Venus is at 5 degrees Cancer and conjunct the sun, opposing the moon. Mercury is at 9 degrees Cancer - a little wide to impact the moon per sei, although its proximity to Venus will have a bearing. That's a stellium in Cancer and as such, the family, home life, private self, safety and emotions are being considered at this full moon. Capricorn is tough on the outside, while Cancer is sensitive mush. It wants to be cared for, nurtured, mothered, feel safe, secure and close.
Broadly speaking at this full moon, these scenarios are possible:
You may have completed a qualification or project and feel it's time to hang with the family, or have a baby.
You might look for a safe space - physical home or within a person.
You might take a break from work or public appearances and soak up some calm.
Be presented with a responsibility like - caring for a parent, managing employees or paying a mortgage.
Expect a completion or culmination of some kind.
Venus and Mercury in Cancer, conjunct Sun
With Venus and Mercury cosying up with the Cancer Sun, relationships and communication is more likely to centre on home and family and your inner world. If you have neglected loved ones, then you may wish to share time with them now. If you have been putting off home repairs, decorating or updates, then your mind could begin planning.
As Cancer represents our deepest private self, this can be a time of equaling our sense of safety and sense of achievement. Is the life path a fit for us emotionally? Do we have sufficient work-life balance? The association with our past could cause waves of nostalgia.
Ruler Saturn at 19 degrees Pisces
Saturn feels somewhat uneasy in Pisces. Being goal-focused and absolute is a 180 of Pisces... who is more Chameleon and flowing. Saturn is forced to loosen boundaries and open up to the unseen and imaginable. It's the physical vs the invisible, the given path Vs the unmapped one. So this full moon might point to the culmination of an achievement or challenge, but ruler Saturn in Pisces gives it more feeling, more openness and space to grow, unless deliberated with hard aspects. If those are present, then you might be feeling the challenges have been too painful, too deep and overwhelming. The unclear path appears to be a hesitant one.
