This lunation marks the end of the astrological year (Pisces/Neptune/12th), a psychological threshold where the psyche naturally turns inward, dissolves old narratives, and prepares for a quieter, more intuitive kind of beginning.

Pisces is the realm of the unconscious, the imaginal, the emotional body, and the longing we don’t always have words for. It’s the sign that teaches us:

Softness is a form of strength.
Intuition is a legitimate source of information.
Letting go is sometimes the only way forward.
Healing happens when we stop gripping the old story.

The shadow side of Pisces

Pisces is the sign of dissolution, empathy, imagination, and transcendence — but those same qualities can tilt into their shadow expressions when the emotional system is overloaded or when reality feels too sharp.

Pisces feels everything. When that sensitivity becomes uncontained, it can lead to:

The ruler of this New Moon, Neptune, has just entered Aries and sits at 1° — conjunct Saturn at 3°. This is a rare and potent combination: the planet of dreams and dissolution meeting the planet of structure and reality at the very first degrees of the zodiac.

Psychologically, this pairing creates a tension between:

The desire to dissolve old identities (Neptune)
The need to build a new one with integrity (Saturn)
The vulnerability of being at the beginning again (Aries)
