Sagittarian new moons set a positive tone; radiating the energy of abundance and expansion. Carefree, up for a good time, travel on a whim, muse about our connection to the universe... A far cry from the emotional wounding and inward purging of Scorpio. They also swing towards joy... just in time for the festive season!
Sag lays it out plain and simple. A spade is a spade. The truth is ... well, the truth is... The truth is a reflection of our subjective awareness. If we take 'belief systems' (Jupiter) for example, then we can observe a number of religious formations, spiritual communities and practices. Now the truth becomes somewhat fragmented and confusing in its multiplicity.
Sag truth is based on natural laws like geometry and polarity. Non-manmade and authentic. There is a natural affinity with such laws, obtained via the intuitive function. There is no prior story or methodology, just an instantaneous knowing. Such an ability can create alienation - that and Sag's ease of cultures. They can feel 'out of place' in their birth culture.
Let's turn to how Sagittarian energy may present during this new moon. One area ripe for seed-planting is belief systems.

Beliefs shape our world and how we navigate, value and prioritise. Beliefs can be restrictive or allowing. You may feel yourself considering your beliefs more keenly this month.
Another Sag avenue is the pursuit of a meaningful existence, and the part of ourselves that wishes to lean into growth. This growth can take the form of physical travel, academic study, extensive topical reading, a lengthy immersive course of mastery, or even mind travel (philosophy). A quest in consciousness exploration.
The shadow side of Sag
The seeker is blinkered by curiosity. We know how that turned out for the cat! Yet, constantly seeking negates the act of finally choosing and being. Of sitting with what has been found. Typically, fire signs are ace at self-motivation and the passion to light the flame. They can struggle with the stage of sitting/bedding/grounding.
As a sign that requires freedom to expand, Sag is used to moving untethered. Exploring as it pleases. Learning, teaching, nomadic living. There can be this alienation - this sense of living as a being of everywhere and belonging nowhere. Again, feeding the seeking of the new, can cheat Sag of the satisfaction of depth and deepening.
Expansion can become exaggeration. Embellishing stories, pushing the risk boundaries. Amping the moment to extreme joy. We all know that the higher we fly, the further the fall. Sag must learn to intuit when joy is at the right level.
Ruler Jupiter at 17 degrees Gemini
The ruler of Sag sits in its opposite sign of Gemini, the messenger. Now might be a fruitful time for information gathering that leads to meaningful experiences. Film plots and lines, reading material, conversations and visual cues are ripe for discovering (and questioning) what we believe. These may in our local community or far-reaching. Either way, there's a good chance that they involve a mix of cultures, religions and social backgrounds.
A reminder that Jupiter expands and Gemini is in perpetual info mode, so ensure you take some time to let the information settle.
Square Saturn at 12 degrees Pisces
Boundaries, boundaries! Pisces has none and Saturn requires them. There's a danger here of being taken for a fool, or allowing the beliefs of others to seep into us (without our acceptance). In the opposite vein, Saturn could create a long-standing spiritual ritual. Even become an authority on it.
Trine Mars at 5 degrees Leo
This is a creator's paradise! An easy flow of creative flair and intuitive knowing, may bring some delightful displays and art. Leo rules children and if this angle is taken, then its the beliefs about our children.

Pluto now in Aqua
The long-awaited Pluto move into Aquarius has taken place. It will remain in this sign for 19 years. Pluto will deepen and intensify Aqua themes such as humanitarian activities, technological advances, intellectualism, liberation and separation and innovation.
As it moves slowly, the shifts will be gradual (as much as they can be, given Aqua's progressive vibe). This transit is deserving of a post of its own, so I will just say here that whatever changes happen - they will be permanent. Pluto eliminates the dying and the transformations are foundational.
